Michelle Shelton, Registered Dietitian and Coach

What's Inside

Six steps. One page. A path back to yourself.

When an urge or stress response arrives, SPACES gives you a clear path — not through control, but through connection with yourself.

P Permission A Acknowledge C Get Curious E EngageGently S StepForward S Space SPACES SELF-LEADERSHIP

S

Space

Take one breath — even a brief pause creates room to respond rather than react

P

Permission

Allow the urge to exist — permission creates distance, and distance creates choice

A

Acknowledge

Notice the resistance — the judgment, the urgency, the voice that says you should be over this

C

Get Curious

Observe without judgment — what sensations, emotions, or thoughts are here right now?

E

Engage Gently

Stay with your experience — compassion and witness, without needing to fix anything

S

Step Forward

Take one wise action — from connection with yourself, not from reaction or control

Not through control — through connection. SPACES gives you a path back to yourself in the moments that matter most.

About Michelle

Why I created SPACES.

I'm Michelle Shelton — Registered Dietitian, ICF-accredited coach, and IFS-trained practitioner. After seven years of clinical practice and years navigating the corporate world myself, I understand what it feels like when stress quietly reshapes your relationship with food.

I built SPACES from both the clinical and the lived side of this work. It's not a set of rules. It's a way of returning to yourself when the urge to escape feels louder than everything else.

The change you're looking for doesn't come from trying harder.
It starts with learning to stay with yourself in the moments that matter.

SPACES is that practice.
